Translates strategic direction into procedures that run — and then builds the systems those procedures turn out to need. Responsible for IT governance, information security and the process landscape of a German–Indian management consultancy across two countries, reporting to the management board. Continuously in the security field since 2016. Trained in economics and social science with a quantitative and commercial emphasis. Over ten years engaged with India: academically, professionally and personally. Overseas Citizen of India.

Berufserfahrung — Professional Experience

since 01/2026 · Manager, Digital Processes & IT Governance

Dr. Wamser + Batra GmbH, Bochum

  • IT governance, information security and the systems landscape of a management consultancy operating across Germany and India, reporting to the management board.
  • Built out identity and access governance on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID: role and permission model, privileged access management, and automated control testing mapped to BSI IT-Grundschutz and ISO 27001.
  • Introduced insider risk monitoring.
  • Cross-border data protection between Germany and India: commissioned processing, retention and deletion concepts, and the regulatory requirements applying to an Indian entity.
  • Automated recurring operational work — statutory documentation under Indian corporate law, integration between business systems, and a self-hosted service management platform. Built AI-assisted and agentic workflows for internal processes.
  • Built controlling and KPI systems from heterogeneous data sources for sales steering and financial management; measured tool adoption as the empirical basis for change management, rather than asking people whether they liked it.
  • Reorganised the information architecture: document management with versioning, status and ownership, and company-wide standardisation of templates and corporate design across the firm’s core systems.
  • Advised operators in regulated sectors on NIS2 and information security. Led vendor selection procedures with weighted evaluation matrices and documented decision trails.

01/2024 – 12/2025 · Project Manager

Dr. Wamser + Batra GmbH, Bochum

  • Led the establishment of a Global Capability Center in India for a German industrial group, including the engineering service provider selection that underpinned the resulting multi-year engagement.
  • Originated new consulting projects independently, including opening a new corporate client.
  • Steered consulting projects for German Mittelstand firms with Indian operations — the interface between clients in Germany and delivery teams in India.
  • Bidirectional CRM and project time-tracking integration via an automation platform, retiring manual data maintenance.
  • Search and visibility strategy for the firm’s web presence including competitor analysis; designed a landing page for Indian market entry.
